Michael W. Shuey is an Arizona Board Certified Licensed Massage Therapist and Aesthetician. He trained and graduated from the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in Tempe, Arizona, specializing in Massage Therapy.
Michael received his Bachelors of Arts Degree in Business Education and a minor in Biology from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. While working as a Training and Marketing Director in the Property Management industry, Michael enjoyed his career but felt unfulfilled. He was looking for a way to make a difference.
"I have always had an interest in massage therapy and continually thought about going to massage school. After years of telling myself that I could not do it, one day I woke up and it was time to make my dream a reality. The moment my first class started I knew massage was going to change my life forever. I love going to work every day knowing I've helped someone relax, heal and rejuvenate themselves."
After several years in the corporate world, Michael fulfilled his dream by opening his own massage practice in 2003. Continually expending his training and knowledge of massage therapy, Michael now uses the healing practices of Reiki and Craniosacral Therapy in his daily practice.
In 2006, Michael graduated from Southwest Institute of Natural Aesthetics in Tempe, Arizona. In addition to teaching private classes, Michael also teaches at the Southwest Institute of Natural Aesthetics.

Jose Montoya, M.S., L.Ac. has a Masters of Science in Acupuncture. He is licensed by the state of Arizona and the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and is a current member of the American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and NADA.
He has been studying and working in the field of Medicine for ten years. During his graduate studies in Traditional Chinese Medical studies, he traveled to China two times receiving certificates from A Collaborating Centre of Traditional Medicine, World Health Organization, Guang An Men Hospital China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences.
Before this, he studied Human Anatomy and Biology and has been working in the nursing field for the past 6 years. His experience allows him to bridge Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine.
Jose currently treats many patients who suffer from chronic and acute pain. In addition, he has experience assisting patients with compromised immunity, stress and anxiety, fatigue, infertility, digestive disorders and various symptomologies of autoimmune and detoxification.

Dr. Paulson earned a doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. She then went on to complete a two year residency in Naturopathic Oncology at Goshen General Hospital. During her residency, Dr. Paulson was responsible for inpatient and out patient care, management and reduction of treatment side effects, and general medical care. This residency also provided additional training in: Medical, Radiation, and Surgical Oncology; Pediatric Oncology, Emergency Medicine, Surgery, Breast Disease, Pathology, Family Practice, and Cardiology.
Dr. Paulson is board certified in naturopathic oncology, and provides expert care while integrating a plan that treats the whole person. She also uses her training as a yoga teacher to look for the areas in life and health that need greater balance, awareness, and connection. If you are interested in using herbs, nutrients, diet, and lifestyle changes safely and effectively, Dr. Paulson will be an excellent guide on this path.

Sundina went to two local community colleges in the attempt to find her nitch. She was a Psychology major for a year and a half and that is what led her to The Southwest Institute of the Healing Arts. She wanted to continue an education in verbal communication as well as communication within the body to help guide others on their paths.
Sundina completed her Mind, Body and Wellness Practitioner Program in the summer of 2009 and has been helping to guide clients on their paths since. She believes that even in the hardest days of life there is always a Ray of Hope.
